The Compliance Documents required by a Credit for a particular green certification scheme or industry standard often depend on project model values.
For example, on a building project the Compliance Documents required for a building that is fully naturally ventilated will be different from those required for a mechanically ventilated building. The Compliance Documents required for a building that is primarily steel-framed will be different from those required by one that is concrete-framed.
In GreenDesk these are known as Document Compliance Conditions (or just Compliance Conditions), and typically depend on one or more Values, most often AnswerValues.
Each Credit view page has a table of all candidate compliance documents along with a column showing any compliance condition Values.
If a compliance condition value is missing - as indicated by UNDEF (visit also this tutorial) - for a Compliance Document of an applicable Credit, the user is prompted to provide the value. (In some rare cases, Compliance Documents must all be provided when a credit is NOT applicable.)
Some compliance conditions are simple assertions made by a user. Some are derived and/or depend on model values and/or on other compliance conditions.
